Reported speech forms

Moving the tense back when reporting something said in the past; a reporting verb + infinitive for offers, invitations, requests and instructions; *if* / *whether* + statement order for yes/no questions and a *wh*-word + statement order for *wh*-questions; and the pronoun, time and place changes needed when reporting to someone else later and elsewhere. Practised by converting the diary in both directions.
